EVERYONE is a Coach These Days

10 years ago the title “coach” was reserved for either leaders of high school football teams or folks like Tony Robbins. These days there’s more coaches than there are people on the internet.

How did this happen?

People have one hardship, one minor inconvenience, and next thing you know, they're teaching everyone else how to overcome, how to rebrand and how to transform. You too can repeat their successes, all you’ll need is an online course, webinar, e-book or program registration…

Just reply yes in the comment box below this post!

These days a “coach” can be anything. The only qualification seems to be an internet connection and a social channel or two.

Now please don’t get me wrong. I’m all for people living their best lives and making a living on their terms.

I’m all for people calling themselves coaches… After all, I’ve created a coaching business myself.

My website is even “AlexStarkCoaching.com.” I would however, like to explain what differentiates my coaching services from others.

My brand of coaching is founded upon:

  • Substance: my executive coaching services are built on expertise, experience and training. I hold a Master’s degree, have executive level experience running large teams, run a multi-state private practice and own two businesses.

  • Multi-Disciplinary Approach: The modern world is a complicated place. So too are the solutions needed to help people solve problems. My coaching and programs are built on neuroscience, mindfulness (I am certified), leadership development, and cognitive behavioral strategies.

  • Empathy and Flexibility: I believe in approaching people I work with from a place of empowerment. I enjoy building people up and helping them live, work and feel better.

  • Curated to What You Need: When I take on a client, we form a relationship. We work together on their terms and derive solutions that are made for them. The ways in which I use my expertise and background vary with the needs of the people I work with. What doesn’t change are the outcomes and the commitment.

  • No Pressure: I run my own practice. I enjoy helping people. I am not concerned with quotas—nobody puts pressure on me to shoehorn clients into something that will not work. I will only work with you if I can help you and if we are a good fit. If that is not the case, that’s ok. Transparency, honesty, value and being fair are the foundation of my services.
