Burnout: More than a Buzzword
Burnout is a real thing. It effects real people. That said, it is not inevitable nor is it permanent.
In this talk, I provide insight into how to identify the telltale signs of burnout and provide resources that allow your team to determine whether or not, and to what extent, burnout exists in your workspace. Resiliency is one of the most important and influential interpersonal characteristics in the world. It is also one of the most misunderstood and underappreciated. Resiliency, or the lack thereof, is a powerful predictor of many things: mental wellbeing, long-term career success, and personal satisfaction.
Resiliency comes naturally to some, but it is also a learned skill. Teaching resiliency and nurturing it within my clients has been a hallmark of my career in therapy, executive coaching and leadership. Well-Being & Psychological Safety in the Workplace
Many workplaces across the United States are defined by cultures that do not foster psychological safety of leaders, executives or teams.
