The Executive Reset Method
A structured framework for recovering from burnout without dismantling the career you worked hard to build.
My Approach For You
The Executive Reset Method is Alex Stark's proprietary framework for burnout recovery and sustainable leadership. It underpins every 1:1 coaching engagement and the online course of the same name a structured, sequenced process built specifically for high-achieving women who need to recover from burnout without stepping away from their careers.
This is not a wellness program. It is not generic stress management. It is a clinical and coaching methodology that moves in sequence, because sequence matters. You cannot build sustainable leadership skills on top of a nervous system that is still in crisis. The Executive Reset starts where you actually are and moves forward from there
Phase 1: Clear the Chaos
Months 1 & 2
Before anything else can shift, we need a clear picture of what is actually happening. Phase 1 is about honest assessment and immediate stabilization. We map your current burnout level, clarify your core values and how far you have drifted from them, and identify the three things that need to change right now before deeper work can begin.
This phase is grounded in the reality that most high-achieving women arrive already depleted. We do not pile new skills on top of an overwhelmed system. We clear enough space to do the work.
What comes out of Phase 1: a burnout assessment and baseline, core values clarity, and an immediate action plan that addresses what cannot wait.
Phase 2: Rewire the Foundation
Months 3 & 4
Phase 2 is the core of the work. This is where we address the patterns that created the burnout in the first place: a nervous system that never learned to come out of high alert, thought patterns that keep you stuck in perfectionism and guilt, the inability to hold structure in your professional and personal life, and the communication habits that leave you overloaded and under protected.
This phase draws on mindfulness, cognitive behavioral patterns, and communication science. It is practical and applied. Every session produces something you use that week, not just insight.
What comes out of Phase 2: nervous system regulation skills, mindset shifts around anxiety and decision fatigue, stronger personal and professional structure, and assertive communication and delegation tools you can use immediately.
Phase 3: Lead Differently
Months 5 & 6
Phase 3 is where the leadership work comes in. By this point you have cleared the crisis and rebuilt the foundation. Now we look at how you lead and how to lead in a way that does not recreate burnout as you grow. This includes developing your authentic executive presence, building the resilience that makes you a stronger leader, and creating a sustainable personal and professional life you do not need to escape from.
This is the phase where clients stop surviving their careers and start leading them.
What comes out of Phase 3: leadership style clarity, executive presence development, resilience tools, and a sustainable well-being plan that holds beyond the coaching engagement.

Common questions about The Executive Reset Method
-
High-achieving women in executive, leadership, or founder roles who are burned out or approaching it, and who want to recover without leaving their careers. If you are in acute mental health crisis, the therapy side of Alex's practice is the right starting point, the coaching framework builds on a foundation of basic stability.
-
No. The online course and 1:1 coaching both use the same framework and can be done independently. Some clients start with the course and add coaching later. Others go straight to 1:1. The free consult helps you figure out which is the better fit for where you are right now. The course is a no cost added bonus of working with Alex 1:1.

The combination of licensed clinical training and executive coaching expertise is uncommon. Alex is a licensed mental health counselor in three states and a certified executive coach which means she can address both the psychological and strategic dimensions of burnout in the same engagement. Most coaching programs focus on leadership skills without touching the underlying patterns driving the burnout. Most therapy addresses the psychological work without the practical leadership application. The Executive Reset does both.

Yes. The method is useful at any point on the burnout spectrum — from "I think I'm getting close" to "I'm completely depleted." The earlier you address it, the faster the recovery and the less ground you have to make up. If you're unsure where you are, the burnout assessment in Phase 1 will clarify it quickly.
